No matter what skill or fitness level you are in BJJ, our Adults program takes place in a safe, supportive and inclusive setting. All grade levels train together to learn valuable life skills, master techniques and improve fitness.
Youth Fusion 7-12
Our Youth program is a unique blend of Aikido and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu principles and skills. Our approach is mulifactorial with a strong emphasis on anti-bullying strategies and techniques. We utilise play and skilled based learning with the aim of building fitness, strength and confidence.

JJM BJJ Singapore is the first Jean Jacques Machado affiliate in Asia. Jean Jacques Machado is world-renowned for being a pioneer of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and one of it greatest champions. We are proud to be part of the Jean Jacques Machado BJJ family and our mission is to continue to promote his legacy here in Singapore.

7th Degree Coral (Red/Black) Belt
The nephew of the co-founder of BJJ, Carlos Gracie, Master Jean Jacques Machado is among one of the most admired and respected BJJ teachers in the world. In 2011, he was awarded the rank of 7th degree black belt from Rickson Gracie in recognition of his significant contribution to the art and the impact he has had on it. Starting Jiu-Jitsu at an early age he was a very successful competitor in both Brazil and the U.S.
With his headquarters in Los Angles, he heads a large organisation that is dedicated to the preservation, growth and advancement of Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu throughout the world.
Professor Jay Zeballos
Technical Advisor, 3rd Degree Black Belt
Professor Jay Zeballos is the technical advisor for JJM Singapore and makes regular visits to teach to conduct seminars throughout Australasia and Asia. Renowned for his highly technical ability as well as his insights and philosophy to training, Professor Jay has been instrumental in the growth and development of JJM BJJ in Singapore and Asia.
Professor Jay Zeballos has been a direct student under Master Jean Jacques Machado for over 20 years, receiving his black belt in 2007.
Currently a third degree black belt, Professor Jay is also Master Jean Jacque’s most active and decorated competitor.
Jon Marshall began his training in martial arts almost 35 years ago. A graduate of the gruelling Aikido Senshusei course in Tokyo Japan, he trained alongside the Japanese riot police, and later taught at Yoshinkan headquarters in Tokyo Japan. He holds high ranks in both Yoshinkan Aikido and Gyokushin Ryu Aikido, and has been awarded the prestigious rank of Shihan in both arts. He has a long history of teaching martial arts, including worldwide in places including Poland, U.K., U.S. Australia and throughout South East Asia.
He established the BJJ program at his dojo in Melbourne Australia in 2012, which went on to become JJM Melbourne.
In 2018, he relocated to Singapore and with the guidance of Professor Jay, is the first affiliated JJM BJJ school in Asia.
Due to the current COVD-19 situation, we are unable to offer classes of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu but we are looking forward to getting back on the mat and training as soon as possible.
